2008
Paul begins purchasing vehicles at auction for friends, family, acquaintances, paying a fee to use existing dealerships license. NOBODY thought his dream of one day, helping people buy a vehicle ONLINE, SIGHT-UNSEEN was possible. For 3 years he only bought local, hands one while he learned the ins/outs of the “Auction Buying” process.
2011
After 3 years of receiving overwhelming demand and doing something NO DEALER DOES…
1. Give 100% transparency by showing customers the TRUE wholesale cost and charging a low fee.
2. Satisfying customers 100% by covering ANY unexpected costs that came up after buying a vehicle OR giving them a 100% refund and taking the vehicle back.
Through trial and error, he learned how to buy vehicles from the auction… safely.
Then, with his best friend and partner, Chris (a Deputy Sheriff/Air Force Reserve Captain), they started their own dealership. HBO Auto Inc (Help (your) Brother Out.
They concentrated on helping Military/Vets/LEO’s/1st Responders buy vehicles. Then they went national and included helping civilians buy a vehicle SAFELY AND SAVE TIME AND MONEY.
2013
Due to the increasing demand while still fulfilling his goal of 100% customer satisfaction, Paul and Chris begin training new employees to help them do this THE RIGHT WAY. MANY have come and gone… because they do NOT want to do this the RIGHT WAY or SPEND THE TIME it takes to do this THE RIGHT WAY.
Some of those people went off and TRIED and or are TRYING to duplicate THE RIGHT WAY and NONE of them are succeeding. MY WAY takes 100% time, effort, REGARDLESS of whether the customer ends up buying a vehicle or not.
We are here to EDUCATE first, not “sell” anyone a vehicle.
ALL of these “copy cats” do NOT care about the customer, the way we do.
